Cultural Life at UFC
PETRAN - Graduate Program in Transport Engineering is linked to the Department of Transport Engineering - DET, of the Federal University of Ceará - UFC, being one of the 10 departments that make up its Technology Center - CT. The CT / UFC. PETRAN's masters and doctoral classes are formed, preferably, by full-time students, divided into the areas of concentration of Transport Infrastructure and Planning and Operation of Transport Systems. The academic background of the candidates is not restricted to the field of Engineering, being able to participate in the selection of professionals graduated in related areas such as Economics, Administration, Architecture and Urbanism, Geography, among others. Over the past few years, PETRAN has consolidated itself as an important regional center for teaching and research, with its students and teachers reaching prominence in the national transport community. Most of the activities of these professionals are concentrated in the Pavement Mechanics Laboratory - LMP, in the Transport, Traffic and Environment Research Group - GTTEMA and in the Logistics and Infrastructure Networks Group. UFC Foreign Culture Houses
They offer the community, in addition to language courses, the cultural diffusion of the countries they represent. There are six Culture Houses (German, British, French, Hispanic, Italian, Portuguese) and an Esperanto course
Engineering Graduate Library
Support for postgraduate courses linked to the UFC Technology Center. There are 11 master's and 07 doctoral courses distributed in the following areas: Chemical Engineering; Civil Engineering; Electrical engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Teleinformatics Engineering; Materials Engineering; Transport Engineering and Logistics and Operational Research. UFC Art Museum
MAUC has 9 rooms for long-term (permanent) exhibitions, 4 of which are collective: Os Fundadores, Arte Cearense, Foreign Art, Popular Culture, and 5 individual: Chico da Silva, Aldemir Martins, Antonio Bandeira, Raimundo Cela and Descartes Gadelha. It also integrates the museum circuit, the sculpture “Cristo”, in iron and copper, located in the entrance hall and the panel “Jangadas”, both by Zenon Barreto and produced for the inauguration of the new MAUC building, in 1965. The museum also has 3 spaces for short and medium duration (temporary) exhibitions.
UFC Dance Company
Develops choreographies in various styles, highlighting contemporary dance, to bring together anyone interested in the proposal, who can be students, servants or members, servant or member of the community, as long as they fulfill the basic prerequisites for participating in the company.

FM University Radio
Created on February 22, 1981, Rádio Universitária FM 107.9MHz maintains a program aimed at publicizing the UFC's activities. Through newsletters and interviews with its professors and researchers, the articles aired serve as an agenda for other information vehicles.
Casa Amarela Eusébio Oliveira
It offers courses in the areas of cinema, photography and animation, in addition to forming audiences for the audio-visual area, spreading the memory of the people of Ceará. It has a vast collection of films, videos and photographs. It promotes Cine Ceará, the third largest film festival in Brazil, and provides a video library for students, university professors and the general population.
