TG0576 - TOPOGRAPHY FOR GEOLOGY
Geology
Topography fundamentals (applications, linear and angular measurements, survey types, errors, accuracy). Notions of cartography and geodesy (coordinates – reference systems – scales). Orientation (azimuths – bearings – magnetic declination). Altimetry (dimensions and altitudes – leveling – errors, compensations and tolerances – topographic profile). Planimetry (irradiation – polygonal – errors, compensations and tolerances – topographic coordinates – topographic plan). Planialtimetry (surveys – quoted points – contour lines). Topographic instruments (compass – level – theodolite – total station – GPS). Informatics (software - obtaining and processing data - drawing up maps and profiles).
